Courtyard by Marriott to serve as host hotel

Two of Montgomery's finest hotels have joined the Maulers for the inaugural 2005 season. The Courtyard by Marriott, located at 5555 Carmichael Road, will serve as the Maulers' official host hotel by housing most of the visiting teams. Another Marriott property, Towne Place Suites at 5047 Towne Place Drive, will house team and league officials during the season.

"These teams will experience some of the finest accommodations our city has to offer," said Courtyard by Marriott sales manager Carolyn Sadler. "Our support of the Maulers is another example of our commitment to Montgomery and we're excited to be a part of the city's newest professional sports team."

As part of the sponsorship, the Courtyard by Marriott and Town Place Suites will receive in-arena and program advertising during the 2005 season, along with tickets for the hotel guests.

An expansion franchise in the National Indoor Football League (NIFL), the Montgomery Maulers offer seven nights of hard-hitting, high-scoring, "edge of your seat" excitement at historic Garrett Coliseum. The Maulers play their first-ever game on March 19 at Kissimmee, FL The first home game is Saturday, April 2 against the SW Louisiana Swashbucklers.
