
Earthquakes to Host USWNT 2023 FIFA World Cup Viewing Parties

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will host watch parties for United States Women's National Team matches in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. Viewing parties for USWNT games during the group stage will take place at PayPal Park, while additional dates and locations will be announced as the tournament progresses. The World Cup, which is being played in Australia and New Zealand, will take place from Thursday, July 20 through Sunday, Aug. 20.
Dates for the group stage watch parties include Friday, July 21, 6 p.m. PT for USA vs Vietnam, Wednesday, July 26, 6 p.m. PT for USA vs Netherlands, and Tuesday, Aug. 1, 12 a.m. PT for USA vs Portugal.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at PayPal Park during the matches. Viewing parties will feature activities, prizes, giveaways and more. All of the gatherings will be free to enter and take place in the Epicenter.
PayPal Park just hosted the USWNT for a World Cup send-off match against Wales on Sunday, July 9. That match marked the fifth time that the women's national team have played at the home of the Quakes, and the first time since 2018. The USWNT are currently ranked first in the latest FIFA World rankings and have placed in every World Cup dating back to 1991. The Earthquakes are excited to welcome soccer fans to PayPal Park to cheer on the USWNT as they pursue their third consecutive World Cup title.
