Callender and Cremaschi Named to MLS Team of the Matchday

Inter Miami CF goalkeeper Drake Callender and midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi have been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 24 of the 2023 regular season. The pair secured their spots on the team after their influential performances in the 2-2 draw against D.C. United at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, July 8.

Callender continued his excellent season in net to earn a spot on the Team of the Matchday bench. During Saturday's draw with D.C. United, Callender made seven saves, a performance emblematic of his overall season so far. His performance in goal was key to keeping the match even through the final whistle.

Cremaschi was also named to the Team of the Matchday bench after making his mark on the team in brilliant fashion. The Key Biscayne, Florida native scored his first MLS goal off a right-footed strike to open the scoring against D.C. United on Saturday night.

This is Cremaschi's second consecutive appearance in the MLS Team of the Matchday, following his standout performance in the Matchday 23 draw with the Columbus Crew, while its the fourth Team of the Matchday designation for Callender this season.
