San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes have secured their full allotment of wearable sponsors for the 2020 season.
Intermedia was introduced as the Earthquakes' jersey partner back in January and has their branding on the chest of the team's two 2020 uniforms. The cloud communications company headquartered in nearby Sunnyvale, Calif. has been heavily involved in keeping the Quakes connected to their fans during the stoppage in play. The club has used Intermedia's platform to hold more than 23 Digital Devotion Days, connecting season ticket holders with players and staff through a variety of fun and engaging ways. Intermedia technology has also empowered the club's front office to be able to work remotely while keeping productivity optimized. Intermedia is the presenting partner of the Earthquakes' first match of the MLS is Back Tournament against Seattle Sounders FC on July 10 at 6 p.m. PT.
San Jose will be adding sleeve patches to their kits ahead of the competition in Orlando, Fla. featuring longtime partners Clover and Wells Fargo. Clover will be featured on the jersey for the duration of the tournament, while Wells Fargo will remain through the end of the season.
Additionally, Sutter Health has been added to the club's training top for the rest of the 2020 season. Sutter Health is the jersey partner of the Quakes Academy and has also taken numerous steps to promote the health and wellness initiatives of the club. Sutter Health has elevated the long running Get Earthquakes Fit program, which now aims to keep families active through a virtual platform.
"We're extremely excited to have fulfilled all of our wearable inventory with our longtime team partners," said Earthquakes Chief Operating Officer Jared Shawlee. "Intermedia, Clover, Wells Fargo and Sutter Health have been tremendous supporters of the Quakes and we're looking forward to seeing their branding out on the field."
