
Earthquakes Partner with KLOK 1170 AM to Broadcast all Matches in Spanish

San Jose, Calif.- The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the team will partner with Spanish language radio station KLOK 1170 AM, part of Univision Radio, to broadcast all 30 regular season games in 2008.
"We are very excited to have Univision join the Earthquakes as our partner" stated David Alioto, Executive Vice President of the San Jose Earthquakes. "Their commitment to promoting Major League Soccer and the Earthquakes will allow us to reach a significant portion of our Hispanic fan base."
The first KLOK 1170 AM broadcast will be on Thursday, April 3 when the Earthquakes open the 2008 MLS regular season against Los Angeles Galaxy at The Home Depot Center at 7:30 p.m. PT.
KLOK 1170 AM is a Spanish language news/talk radio station which covers current events, news, sports and offers information on how to live a happier and healthier life.
The San Jose Earthquakes are a Major League Soccer expansion franchise and will begin playing in April of 2008. Season tickets for the 2008 Earthquakes season are on sale and can be purchased by calling (408) 556-7700 or online at sjearthquakes.com.
