
Earthquakes Fall 2-1 to Houston Dynamo on the Road

San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes fell 2-1 in a tightly contested match against the Houston Dynamo at Robertson Stadium Saturday evening. The Quakes put the pressure on the hosts when forward Khari Stephenson volleyed home a cross by defender Steven Beitashour in the 40th minute, giving San Jose an initial 1-0 lead. However, Brad Davis equalized in the 47th minute on a penalty and Will Bruin tapped in the game winner in the 79th minute for the Dynamo.
The Quakes return to action on the road against the Portland Timbers on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at JELD-WEN Field. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT and will air live on 1220 KDOW and 1370 KZSF.
