Earthquakes Acquire Fourth Round Supplemental Draft Pick

SAN JOSE (Thursday, March 24, 2005) - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the team has acquired a 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft fourth round pick club from Club Deportivo Chivas USA in exchange for the rights to Victor Arbelaez. San Jose originally drafted Arbelaez from UNLV in the third round of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft. Arbelaez spent three weeks in Earthquakes camp during preseason.
