Eagles Receive Defenseman Justin Hamonic

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced Wednesday that defenseman Justin Hamonic has been assigned to the Eagles by the team's AHL affiliate the San Antonio Rampage. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound blueliner has competed in 54 ECHL contests with the Fort Wayne Komets and Alaska Aces, posting one goal and seven assists, playing at a combined +10. In addition, Hamonic also appeared in seven AHL contests with the Rochester Americans during the 2015-16 season.

Prior to turning pro, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native spent four seasons in the WHL with the Tri-City Americans, registering 46 points in 255 contests. The 22 year-old also spent his final two seasons in the WHL serving as the captain for the Americans.
