Finals to be held at Microsoft Store at Woodland Hills Mall on November 5. Register to win Oilers premium prizes and a spot in national tournament.
TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers announced details Wednesday for the team's EA SPORTS: NHL 17 tournament, sponsored by the Microsoft Store, which begins October 22nd in the Sky Lounge of the BOK Center. Earlier this summer, it was announced that the popular video game franchise would include all 27 ECHL teams for the first time in NHL 17, which was released last month.

The winner of the Tulsa Oilers NHL 17 Tournament also qualifies to compete in the ECHL's league-wide NHL 17 tournament, leading up to the ECHL All-Star Classic which will be held January 17-19 in Glens Falls, NY. The final two standing in the league-wide tournament will be flown to the ECHL All-Star Classic to compete in a best-of-three series to determine the overall NHL 17 Champion.
Tulsa Oilers NHL 17 Tournament
Preliminary Rounds: Saturday, Oct. 22, 2pm - Sky Lounge (BOK Center)
Final Rounds: Saturday, Nov. 5, 3pm - Microsoft Store (Woodland Hills Mall)
Platform: XBOX One (must play as the Tulsa Oilers)
**Dates and times subject to change.
The Entry Fee is $50 ($35 for Oilers Season Ticket Holders) and includes the following:
- TWO (2) tickets to the October 22nd game vs. Atlanta
- EIGHT (8) additional flex vouchers good for any Oilers home game
- Gift(s) from the Microsoft Store

The format of the tournament will be a bracket play-down. All entrants will be drawn at random to complete the bracket, and byes will be awarded via random draw if necessary, depending on the number of entrants.
-- The Oilers begin their third ECHL season October 15th when the team travels to face the Wichita Thunder. The Home Opener is Friday, October 21st, when Tulsa begins its ninth season of play at the BOK Center.
