SYDNEY- The Cape Breton Eagles have reassigned forwards Nicolas Hogue & Mikhail Nizovkin from the club's active roster.
The 17 year old Hogue was selected by the Eagles in the seventh round of the 2020 QMJHL draft. This season he collected one assist in 19 games, in his rookie QMJHL season..
The 18 year old Nizovkin was chosen with the 44th choice in the 2020 CHL Import draft. This season he notched one assist in 21 games, also his rookie QMJHL season.
In the absence of the two players along with the injury to Matt MacDonald, recalled forward Luke Patterson will remain with the Eagles for this weekend in Charlottetown. The Eagles play will the Islanders tonight at 7:30 PM and tomorrow night at 7 PM. Both games will be broadcast on Eastlink Television, and also are available for purchase online at https://watch.chl.ca.
