
Eagles Choose Goaltender Nicolas Ruccia in QMJHL Draft

SYDNEY- The Cape Breton Eagles chose goaltender Nicolas Ruccia from Laval with the 17th overall pick in the opening round of the 2020 QMJHL draft on Friday night.
This past season Ruccia played for Laval-Montreal in the Quebec midget AAA league. The 5'11, 148 pound netminder collected 14 wins in 22 games with a goals against average of 2.54 and a save percentage of 903.
The QMJHL draft continues on Saturday morning at 10 AM. The Eagles hold 17 selections in the remaining 13 rounds, as found below.
