
Eagles blank Wildcats 4-0

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles come into the Moncton Coliseum and handed the home town Wildcats a 4-0 defeat on Friday night in front of 4836 fans. It was billed as a preview to the first round of the Q playoffs which begin at the Coliseum next Friday night at 7pm.
After a scoreless first period, the Eagles scored three in the middle stanza, and then added another in the third. Logan Shaw, Maxime Legault, Luke Adam and Taylor MacDougall were the Cape Breton scorers.
The Wildcats out shot the Eagles 32-28.
Moncton will wind up its regular season schedule on Sunday night at 8 at the Coliseum when the host the Saint John Sea Dogs in Round 8 of the Rivalry Cup. The pre-game ceremony will also feature a special presentation to the 20 year old members of the Wildcats.
