Colorado Eagles News Release

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Central Hockey League's Northern Conference champion Colorado Eagles announced today that they've signed rookies Logan Bittle and Adam Knight. Bittle is a right-handed shooting forward and Knight brings versatility as a forward-defenseman swingman.

Bittle (6-foot-1, 200 pounds) joins the Eagles after four seasons at Robert Morris University. During his 126 career games with the Colonials, the Peoria, Illinois native scored 52 points (20-32-52) - including three straight seasons with at least 10 points. During his junior season, Bittle registered career highs in points (19), assists (14) and power-play goals (3). In 2004, prior to attending RMU, Bittle led the North American Hockey League in points-per-game (1.25) and ranked second in the league in goals (34).

Knight, who played four seasons at South Alberta Institute of Technology, brings both leadership and championship experience to the Eagles. As an assistant captain for the Trojans during the 2007-08 season, the Prince George, British Columbia native scored 16 points (5-11-16) in 16 games, helping lift SAIT to the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Championship. He also brings toughness to the team, having averaged four PIMs per game in 151 career games as an amateur.

The defending Northern Conference champion Colorado Eagles open the 2008-09 season with a home game against the expansion Rapid City Rush on October 17. Tickets for all home dates at the Budweiser Events Center will go on sale September 20 and can be purchased through the Budweiser Events Center box office, www.ComcastTix.com, 1-877-544-TIXX (8499), the Eagles' Office in Water Valley or through any ComcastTIX Outlet.
