The Bulls play the first of four straight games against the Norfolk Tides, with the first two coming on the road at Harbor Park. Durham is coming off a 4-6 homestand, but is 4-3 over its last seven games. Still, the Bulls are are just 9-16 since the All-Star break, and have dropped 32 of their last 49 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 9.5-game deficit. Norfolk - the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate - is coming off a three-game sweep at the hands Indianapolis, and is just 2-5 over the first seven games of its current nine-game homestand. Still, the Tides enter today with the 2nd-best record in the IL behind Indianapolis (68-48), and lead the IL South by 4.0 games over Gwinnett.
