Dunedin Blue Jays News Release
Dunedin, FL - The Dunedin Blue Jays will host the first of two "Camp Days" at Dunedin Stadium on Wednesday, June 23 when they host the Tampa Yankees at 11 a.m.
The special start time has been made to accommodate local summer camps that will come out for the event, which will focus on youth activities and fun promotions throughout the game. The stadium gates will open at 10 a.m. Kids are welcome to bring in squirt toys or other items that will help them cool off during the hot summer day.
It will also be the final game of the first half of the Florida State League season. The Blue Jays currently lead the FSL North Division by three games over the Yankees, trying to hold off a late Tampa surge to secure a playoff berth.
Camps interested in participating in the event can fill out the Camp Day ticket form that can be found under the "Events" tab at www.DunedinBlueJays.com. A second Camp Day has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 21, and the same form can be used to purchase tickets for both events.
