
Flying Tigers Return Home Tomorrow for Seven-Game Homestand with Blues, Brews

Lakeland Flying Tigers News Release
Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers return home for a seven-game homestand beginning Thursday, June 17 at Joker Marchant Stadium. Lakeland will host the Brevard County Manatees June 17-19 and the Daytona Cubs June 21-23. Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount. Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $10. Parking is FREE.
Thursday, June 17 Doubleheader vs. Brevard County Manatees @ 5:00 p.m. (Gates open at 4:30 p.m.)
The Flying Tigers will play two 7-inning games vs. the Brevard County Manatees beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Blues, Brews and BBQ
Area Polk County restaurants will serve up delicious food samples from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. or while supplies last. Budweiser will be providing beer samples of Shocktop and Gordon Biersch Hefeweizen and there will be live blues music from Roy Powers. $1 beer and soda will be available beginning at 4:30 pm until the end of the 5th inning of the second game.
Tickets to the Blues, Brews and BBQ are only $10 and includes free food samples, free beer samples, live music and a ticket to both Flying Tigers games that day. Parking is free. Proceeds
from the event will benefit the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association. Confirmed restaurants include Texas Cattle Company, Hooters, Outback Steakhouse, Terrace Grille (Terrace Hotel), Angelino, I-Hop and Bob Evans.
Friday, June 18 vs. Brevard County Manatees @ 7:00 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m.)
Island Themed Floppy Hat Giveaway
The first 750 paid adults ages 15 and over will receive a free Island Themed Floppy Hat. Fans can enjoy our Island/Beach theme throughout the game.
Royal Rangers Night
Special group ticket and food packages for the Royal Rangers and their families.
Higher Education Convention
Representatives from seven Florida schools will be at the stadium promoting their advanced degree programs. Schools expected to participate include Warner University, Keiser University, Webster University, University of Phoenix, Rasmussen College, Nova Southeastern University and Walden University.

Fireworks Extravaganza
Fans can enjoy a spectacular fireworks show following the game. This will be the final Saturday night fireworks show of the season.
Faith Night featuring the Battle of the Bands
Bring your church, youth groups, friends and families to celebrate faith and be part of the fun and excitement at Joker Marchant Stadium.
Polk County BoCC Employee Night
All Polk County BoCC employees and their families receive a special discounted ticket price.
Mental Health Matters Night
Vendors in the stadium concourse will be distributing information and raising awareness for mental health diseases.
