
Military Appreciation and World Cup Night Highlight Crabs Homestand

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The first-place Charlotte Stone Crabs return to Charlotte Sports Park on Thursday, June 17, for a six-day, seven-game homestand with series against the Fort Myers Miracle (Minnesota Twins) and Jupiter Hammerheads (Florida Marlins).
The weekday games will feature daily promotions including Thursty Thursday presented by The Ice House Pub, Dollar Dog Night presented by Red Hog Chicago on Mondays and Seniors Eat Free Tuesdays presented by Ruhl Law Group, while the weekend will feature World Cup Night on Friday and Military Appreciation Night on Saturday.
Charlotte will start the homestand on Thursday, June 17 with a three-game series against the I-75 rival Fort Myers Miracle. Thursday's game marks another Thursty Thursday presented by The Ice House Pub with $1 domestic drafts and $2 domestic bottles through the fifth inning of the game. First pitch is 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00 p.m.
Charlotte Sports Park will then transform into a soccer arena on Friday, June 18 with World Cup Night featuring special, soccer-themed in-game promotions with local youth soccer players and the entire staff dressed in soccer gear. Sections will be divided into competing countries with special chants throughout the night. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00 p.m.
The Stone Crabs will then conclude the series against Fort Myers with Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, June 19. Members of the United States armed forces will take center stage and be honored throughout the night, and the game ball will be delivered by skydivers from the Southwest Florida Skydive Club. To cap off the salute to our troops, a dazzling fireworks display presented by your Southwest Florida Chevy Dealers will fill the sky immediately after the game. Gates open at 6:00 with first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
The homestand will continue with a four-game, three-day series against the Jupiter Hammerheads starting on Sunday, June 20. The matinee will start at 5:35 p.m. with gates opening at 4:30 p.m.
The series continues with a doubleheader on Monday, June 21 starting at 5:35 p.m. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for the twin bill, and hot dogs are just $1 throughout the entire game on Dollar Dog Night presented by Red Hot Chicago. The second game of the doubleheader will start 30 minutes after the first game is over.
The homestand finale will be played on Tuesday, June 22 with Seniors Eat Free Tuesday presented by Ruhl Law Group. All fans 55 and over will receive a free hot dog, bag of chips and soft drink with the purchase of a game ticket, which starts at just $6 for general admission. Tuesday also marks KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night tickets where fans can receive a buy-one, get-one-free ticket offer if they present a KRAFT Singles wrapper to the box office at the time or purchase.
