Dunedin Blue Jays Reel in Fishing Night

DUNEDIN, FL - The Dunedin Blue Jays are bringing the oceans, lakes, rivers and all things water to Florida Auto Exchange Stadium on Saturday, July 11th for Fishing Night.

Fishing Night will debut for the first time in Dunedin Blue Jays history and it will pay homage to the city of Dunedin and one of its pastimes, fishing. The D-Jays will play host to the Jupiter Hammerheads that night with the first pitch set for 6:30PM.

Angler 360, B&C Kayaks, and Kaku Kayaks and Stand Up Paddles will be on hand as the night's title sponsors with great raffle prizes. Angler 360 will have two (2) rod and reel combos and three (3) $25 gift certificates, while B&C and Kaku will be teaming up to raffle off two (2) one-person kayak rentals, one (1) rod and reel combo, one (1) Engel cooler, and a $50 gift certificate.

Additionally, Rock Bottom Scuba will include its Discover Scuba Class as part of the raffle and Jensen Brothers Sea Food will offer a $25 gift certificate. Meanwhile, there will be several great fishing charters to be won as Get Reel Charters, Prime Tide Fishing, and Bait House are giving fans the chance to win a half-day inshore charter, four-hour charter, and another four-hour charter respectively.

Blue Jays fans will receive one (1) raffle ticket for a chance to win one of the three charters of their choice and one (1) raffle ticket for their choice of any of the other offerings by the evening's sponsors with a paid ticket. Though, fans may purchase as many additional raffle tickets as they would like for one dollar ($1) each at the customer service booth behind home plate.

All the proceeds from additional raffle tickets purchased for one dollar each will benefit Ronald McDonald's House Charities of Tampa Bay.
