Dumont Among Year End Performance Nominees

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- The Central Hockey League (CHL) today announced the nominees for its CHL Performance of the Year and Mississippi RiverKings forward Louis Dumont is among those named for the final online balloting of the 2009-2010 regular season.

Dumont scored four goals in the final period of the December 4th contest between the RiverKings and Colorado Eagles at the DeSoto Civic Center. The four-goal effort became the highest one-game individual goal total for the entire year in the CHL. Dumont helped bring the RiverKings back from one goal down to a 6-3 Mississippi victory.

The effort netted Dumont CHL Performance of the Week and CHL Player of the Week awards after adding three assists in a win December 6th against Missouri for a seven-point weekend.

Voting for the CHL Performance of the Year award is done online at www.centralhockeyleague.com and will continue through Monday, April 12th. The winner of the award will be announced on Tuesday, April 13th.
