Ducks Recall Dan Sexton

The Anaheim Ducks today announced they have recalled right-winger Dan Sexton from the Manitoba Moose.

Sexton, 22, has played in 13 games so far this season with Manitoba. In that span, he has recorded 12 points (5g & 7a) along with two penalty minutes. He has also appeared in 28 games with the Anaheim Ducks this campaign where he recorded 18 points (9g & 9a) along with 14 penalty minutes. He is currently 17th in rookie scoring in the NHL and is 11th in rookie goal-scoring. In his 18 points in 28 games from Dec. 4 to Jan. 25 was second-highest total in that period of time amongst rookies in the NHL.

The Apply Valley, MN. native started the season in 18 games with the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL. During that stint, he scored 26 points (13g & 13a).
