Carlsson Reassigned To Toledo

Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Thursday that defenseman Jonathan Carlsson was reassigned to the Toledo Walleye (ECHL) from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Carlsson, 21, has appeared in 19 games with the IceHogs this season, notching one point on a game-winning goal against Grand Rapids on Jan. 23. The Uppsala, Sweden native has posted four points on two goals and two assists in 10 games with the Walleye this season.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Feb. 27 vs. Peoria Rivermen: Game time is 7:05 p.m. It's Blackhawks Night presented by Taco Bell at the MetroCentre as fans will have an opportunity to meet Blackhawks assistant coach Mike Haviland along with forwards Kris Versteeg, Troy Brouwer, Colin Fraser, defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson and goalie Antti Niemi. The IceHogs will be hosting a silent auction and also giving away five game worn IceHogs jerseys throughout the game.
