
Ducks fall to Rampage, 2-0

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- Travis Scott made 39 saves as the San Antonio Rampage blanked the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, 2-0, Sunday at the SBC Center.
Kamil Piros and Brent Cullaton scored for the Rampage, who snapped a five-game winless streak (0-4-1-0) and moved to within five points of catching Cincinnati for the fifth and final playoff spot in the West Division with three games in hand.
Scott stopped 31 shots over the final two periods en route to his fourth shutout of the season and second against Cincinnati.
Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 17 shots in the loss for the Ducks, who were shutout for the 10th time this season.
The Ducks and Rampage complete a two-game series Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. at the SBC Center.
