
Aeros recall D Starling from Peoria

Houston, TX â The Houston Aeros have recalled defenseman Chad Starling from the ECHL's Peoria Rivermen, the teams announced Sunday. Starling will wear No. 4 and is expected to be available for today's 5 p.m. home game versus the Milwaukee Admirals.
Starling, 23, (9/16/80) has split the 2003-04 season with CHL Corpus Christi and Peoria. Combined, he has posted 17 points (5-12=17) in 64 games with the two teams. In 174 pro games, Starling has 35 points (8-27=35) and 247 penalty minutes. He played 34 AHL games in Worcester in 2002-03, with one assist and 36 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-6, 205-pound native of Delisle, Sask., was St. Louis' fourth-round draft pick (No. 114 overall) in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
