
Ducks announce playoff broadcast schedule

(Central Islip, N.Y., Sept. 7, 2006) - The Long Island Ducks today announced that all eight potential 2006 playoff contests will be broadcast live on the team's Flagship Radio Station, WLIE (540-AM) and via streaming Web cast on www.liducks.com.
"We are thrilled to be able to continue bringing a first-class broadcast to our first-class fan base," says Ducks general manager Michael Hirsch. "We hope that any fans that can't make it to the ballpark or to our road games, will enjoy the show on air or online."
The radio voice of the Long Island Ducks, Chris King, will man the booth for all Ducks playoff games and describe the action on the field to fans. A full playoff schedule is included below.
