Charleston, WV - The Drive (8-4) will return home tomorrow on the heels of a road trip in which they finished 7-1, culminating with their first four-game series sweep of the 2008 season. With first pitch bright and early at 10:35 A.M., the Drive easily handled the host Power (3-9) with a 9-3 victory, which extended there winning streak to six games.

Aaron Reza got the game started off on the right foot with a leadoff homer, the first in the franchise's history. The Power answered back with a pair of unearned runs in their at bat, but from there Greenville's scoring barrage began.

The Drive plated two runs apiece over the next two innings to pull away with a 5-1 lead. With two outs in the second, Kristopher Negron delivered a run-scoring single and Reza, who finished 3-for-4, added an RBI-double.

An inning later, Mike Jones reached base on a one-out single, and Manny Arambarris followed suit with a two-run round tripper, his first home run of the year.

While the Drive were putting on an offensive clinic, Jose Alvarez was quietly putting together one of his best starts as a professional. After surrendering the two unearned runs in the first, Alvarez did not allow another hit while picking up seven of his eight strikeouts from the second inning on.

Ryan Colvin (1-0) replaced Alvarez with two outs in the bottom of the fifth and picked up where the southpaw left off. Colvin tossed 3.0 innings in which he allowed the Power's only other run on four hits and a walk while fanning five.

After being held scoreless in the third, fourth, and fifth innings, the Drive secured their win with three runs in the sixth and another in the seventh. The first three batters all reached base for the Drive in the sixth before David Marks knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly and Yamaico Navarro added two more with a triple. Marks added his second RBI of the game an inning later as he drew a bases loaded walk.

Jackie Robinson Day, presented by Michelin, with fireworks after the game kicks off the Drive's second home stand of the season as they host the Greensboro Grasshoppers beginning tomorrow. The Drive's second home stand of the year also features the first Businessperson Special of the season on Wednesday with first pitch set for 11:05 A.M. The first $1 Drink Night, where fans can purchase 12-ounce Coca-Cola fountain drinks in any of the concession stands or draft specials in the Spinx 500 Club for just $1, will be Thursday.
