Drillers Return for Third Homestand

Tulsa Drillers News Release
The Tulsa Drillers will be at ONEOK Field May 5-12 for an 8-game homestand with Arkansas and Springfield. The Drillers will host the Travelers for four games, May 5-8, and the Cardinals, May 9-12.
The extended homestand will feature four daytime games. The four include 11:05AM start times on Tuesday, May 5 and Monday, May 11, a 2:05PM start on Sunday, May 10 and a 4:05PM start for the finale on Tuesday, May 12. The other four games will all begin at 7:05PM.
The promotions will include Thirsty Thursday and College Rivalry night on May 7 with orange and crimson Drillers T-Shirts being given away. Events will also include News On 6 Friday Night Fireworks on May 9 and Tulsa's Channel 8 Grand Slam Saturday Dodgers T-Shirts on May 10.

Individual tickets for all eight games, and any other game this season, are currently available for purchase online at TulsaDrillers.com, in person at the ONEOK Field Ticket Office (201 N. Elgin Avenue) or over the phone at (918) 744-5901.
Home Results: The Drillers have compiled a 6-5 record in 11 home games at ONEOK Field this season.
Opponents: Tulsa and Arkansas split a four-game series in Little Rock at the end of April in the only meetings between the two teams this year. The series with Springfield will mark the first meetings of the season between the North Division rivals.
April Was Nice: Starting pitcher Deck McGuire enjoyed a successful April. McGuire was a perfect 4-0 in four starts during the opening month. He pitched a total of 27 innings, compiling a 1.33 ERA while holding opponents to a .183 batting average.

2 WORKS FOR YOU $2 TUESDAYS
The second $2 Tuesday of the year is brought to you by 2 Works For You, 106.1 The Twister, and the City of Tulsa: Focus on the Four program! Fans can purchase General Admission Lawn tickets for only $2 each, while all other tickets are discounted $3 off normal prices. In addition, hot dogs, Mazzio's Pizza slices, 21 oz. Pepsi fountain drinks, jumbo soft pretzels and boxes of popcorn will all be on sale for only $2 each. Finally, from 6:00PM-8:00PM, it's $2 Corona Happy Hour! Corona bottles will be on sale for only $2 each at the beer carts located next to Siegi's Sausage Shack behind home plate and the BBQ Cart on the third base concourse.

DAYTIME BASEBALL
Wednesday will be another chance for fans to take in a game under the sun! Fans of all ages are encouraged to put on sunscreen and enjoy some day baseball. The day action is presented by Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids and by MIX 96.
KOHL'S FUN & FIT PROGRAM
Before the game, fans are invited to come to the Greenwood Cultural Center for a pre-game Fun & Fit program with Hornsby sponsored by Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids. Program starts at 9:30AM.
SUNBURNT LOTION
For those fans who forget to put on sunscreen, the Drillers will be giving away SunBurnt Lotion packets as fans exit ONEOK Field at the end of the game.

COLLEGE RIVALRY NIGHT
The annual Drillers College Rivalry Night is presented by the US Army Corps of Engineers-Tulsa District Water Safety Program, FOX23, and 103.3 FM. Fans are encouraged to proudly wear their favorite college team's colors to the game. The night will also be highlighted by appearances from former OU and OSU athletes who all participated in the great Bedlam rivalry.
OU/OSU THEMED DRILLERS T-SHIRTS
The first 1,000 fans into ONEOK Field will receive their choice of either an orange OSU or crimson OU themed Drillers T-Shirt!
WATER SAFETY NIGHT
Fans are encouraged to stop by the US Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District Water Safety Program tables and displays to learn how to stay safe on the waters this summer. Remember ducks float, you don't so wear a life vest.
THIRSTY THURSDAY
The game at ONEOK Field will feature the third Thirsty Thursday of the year. Twelve ounce servings of Miller Lite and Coors Lite draught beers and 16 ounce servings of Pepsi products will all be on sale for only $1 each.

Following the game is the third News On 6 Friday Night Fireworks display of the season! Saturday, May 9 . . . Springfield Cardinals (7:05 PM) - Gates Open at 6:00 PM
TULSA'S CHANNEL 8 GRAND SLAM SATURDAY / DRILLERS & DODGERS T-SHIRT
The first 1,500 fans, ages 5 and up, to enter the stadium will receive a Drillers & Dodgers 3/4 sleeve baseball T-Shirt courtesy of Walk to End Alzheimer's Foundation, Tulsa's Channel 8 and 92.9 BOB FM. Fans can also join in with their fellow Drillers fans in a high-five challenge as Tulsa attempts to break the world record for the most continuous high-fives.
ALZHEIMER'S AWARENESS NIGHT
The Drillers will be wearing special jerseys to raise funds and awareness to help bring an end to Alzheimer's disease. Fans can purchase their favorite player's game-worn jerseys through a silent auction that will take place during the game. The jerseys will be signed and given to the winning fans immediately following the game Saturday night.

2 WORKS FOR YOU KIDS EAT FREE SOUVENIR SUNDAY / MOTHER'S DAY GIVEAWAY
It's another 2 News Works for You Kids Eat Free Souvenir Sunday. The Drillers are also celebrating Mother's Day by giving away Drillers-themed change purses for the first 500 mothers in the park. Moms can kick back and relax as their kids, 12 and under, will get a Kids Eat Free Coupon that is redeemable for a free hot dog, milk and fruit. It is all courtesy of the Green Country Chevy Dealers, K95.5, and 2 News Works for You.
MOM & KIDS CATCH ON THE FIELD
Before the game, moms can bring their kids onto the field to play a special round of catch from 12:45PM-1:15PM. They can enter the field from section 101.
KIDS RUN THE BASES
After the game, kids can circle the bases of ONEOK Field courtesy of Elote Café & Catering! The line begins in the first row between sections 103 and 104.

DODGER BLUE MONDAY / MAKE A DIFFERENCE MONDAY
As the Drillers continue to celebrate their affiliation with the Dodgers by wearing their Dodger Blue-themed jerseys, fans are encouraged to wear blue as well as certain lucky fans wearing blue will have a chance to receive Drillers/Dodgers memorabilia. Blue snow cones will be half price and blue cotton candy will be available for only $2. This Make a Difference Monday is presented by 100.9 KXOJ.
PREGAME PROGRAMS
Fans wanting to come out early Monday can participate in the 2 Works for You Weather program from 9:00AM-9:30AM at Guthrie Green. The program will be followed by a musical performance by the Red Dirt Rangers from 9:30AM-10:30AM also at Guthrie Green. Guthrie Green is located just a few blocks west of ONEOK Field within easy walking distance.

OZONE ALERT DAY
The first 750 fans at the Arvest and Oil Derrick entrances will receive a free Drillers Ozone Alert T-shirt provided by INCOG & Z104.5 The Edge. Throughout the game, fans will learn ways they can help save our ozone during the hot summer months.
HAPPY HOUR GAME
The final game of this eight-game homestand will wrap up with a midday happy hour game. Skip out of work a little early to come and enjoy a game of baseball as there will be $3 24 ounce beers from 3:00PM-5:00PM and a $4 meal deal with a hot dog, fries and a can of soda (main concession stands.)

It is also the last weekday, afternoon game of the month of May! It's your final chance to enjoy baseball under the sun at ONEOK Field before June!
