FRISCO, TEXAS (May 4, 2015) - The Frisco RoughRiders return to Dr Pepper Ballpark on Tuesday May 5 to begin a four-game home stand against the San Antonio Missions, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. All four games start at 7:05 p.m. with public gates opening at 6 p.m.
The promotional schedule includes "Taco Tuesday," "Weiner Wednesday" and "Thirsty Thursday". On Friday, a spectacular fireworks show will follow the game and one lucky lady will have a chance to dig up a hidden diamond!
On Tuesday May 5, fans can celebrate Cinco De Mayo with another Taco Tuesday. Fans can enjoy $2 tacos all game long, select $3 beers and half price margaritas from 6-8 p.m.
May 6 is a Weiner Wednesday. The all-new 100% beef hot dogs are $1 for the entire game.
It's another "Thirsty Thursday" on May 7. Fans are welcome to $1 domestic draft beers and $1 Dr Pepper products from 6-8 p.m.
Thursday also marks the third "Groovy Grubesday". Michael Gruber, a.k.a. "Grubes," will serve as house DJ and "Ambassador of Fun," bringing upbeat music and unique entertainment. Additionally, his legion of over 31,000 Twitter followers will receive exclusive notice of special incentives and experiences during Thursday's game.
The RoughRiders will also offer a special ticket package for Thursday, the "Dr Pepper 4 for $44 Night" deal. Fans can purchase four Riders tickets, four Dr Pepper products and four hot dogs for only $44 (voucher redeemable at all concessions stands).
On Friday a select number of ladies during the game will participate in a Diamond Dig where they will literally dig in the infield looking for a hidden diamond!
Following the game on Friday May 8, fans can enjoy a spectacular fireworks show. The RoughRiders will hold a record number 20 post game fireworks shows following each Friday home game and other select dates throughout the season, including three straight nights July 3-5.
