The Tulsa Drillers are hosting the Frisco RoughRiders (Texas Rangers) and the Midland RockHounds (Oakland A's) in a 6-game homestand at Drillers Stadium that will run from August 12 through August 17. Tulsa will play a 3-game series against each team.

The series with the RoughRiders will begin the homestand and will run from the August 12-14. The RockHounds will be at Drillers Stadium from August 15-17.

All games in the stand will begin at 7:05PM with the exception of the game on Sunday, August 16 that will start at 6:05PM

The promotions schedule for the will feature Dallas Cowboys Night/Thirsty Thursday on Thursday, August 13, HD Night/50¢ Hot Dogs/DAV Card Sets on Friday, August 14 and Fireworks on Saturday, August 15.

Tickets for all six games and any other games this season are now on sale at the Drillers Stadium Ticket Office. Tickets are also available at TulsaDrillers.com or by calling (918)744-5901.

DEFENSIVE GEMS: Through the last homestand, Tulsa was the Texas League's top defensive club. Individually, Darin Holcomb was the top fielding third baseman with only 11 errors in his first 101 games.

GOOD JULY: In the month of July, Drillers' pitcher combined to easily record a league best 3.10 team ERA. The next closest mark was San Anonio's 3.88 ERA. The strong pitching led to 18 wins in July, the most victories in one month by any TL team this season.

WORKING OVERTIME: The 16-inning game that Tulsa and Arkansas played at Drillers Stadium on August 2 was the longest game of the year in the Texas League. It also matched the longest game that the Drillers have played in the past eight seasons, dating back to July 3, 2001 when they defeated Shreveport 4-2.

MATCHING UP: The Drillers have a 4-2 record versus Frisco this season, but they have won only one of three meetings in Tulsa. Conversely, the Tulsa is 2-4 against Midland with a 2-1 mark at home against the RockHounds.

Channel 2 presents HD Night, as in High-Definition Television and Hot Dogs! DRILLERS BASEBALL CARDS

The first 2,000 fans will receive a special collector's edition of Drillers Baseball Cards courtesy of the Disabled American Veterans and Incredible Pizza. This set will feature many of the Drillers players from this Farewell Season at Drillers Stadium.

Saturday, August 15................... vs. Midland RockHounds (7:05PM) - Gates Open at 6:00PM

FIREWORKS

The Drillers will light up the skies at 15th and Yale with a spectacular, post game Fireworks Show courtesy of FOX 23.

FREE IMMUNIZATIONS!

The Oklahoma Caring Van will be outside the stadium to give FREE immunizations for children up to age 18. Immunizations will be given by a registered nurse from 6:00-7:30PM. Parents or guardians must bring a copy of their child's immunization records and must be present to complete required paperwork.

SKIATOOK NIGHT

Fans can obtain FREE general admission tickets from many of the businesses in Skiatook. The champion Oklahoma Thunder football team that plays its home games in Skiatook will be in attendance, and Skiatook mayor Steve Kendrick will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

KIDS EAT FREE SUNDAY

It will be a great night at the ballpark as it is a Kids Eat Free Night courtesy of Assurant Health, Borden Dairy, Z104.5, The Edge and 94.1, The Sound. Kids, 14 and under, who enter with a paid admission will receive a coupon redeemable for a free hot dog, ice cream and milk. There will also be a face painter and a character artist FREE for kids!

LADIES NIGHT

It's a special night for ladies at Drillers Stadium courtesy of Celebrity Attractions, Belk and Looks Beauty and Wellness. All ladies are invited to enjoy free nail care from Looks Beauty & Wellness and back massages from Community Care College. Ladies will also receive coupons that will allow them to get discounts on selected food and beverage items at the stadium.
