Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the West Michigan Whitecaps (affiliate of the Detroit Tigers) in the last game of a four-game series.

Votto: Reds All-Star and 2010 National League Most Valuable Player Joey Votto is scheduled to play for the Dragons tonight and Wednesday on a major league injury rehabilitation assignment. Votto is currently on the Reds disabled list and has not appeared in a major league game since July 15 due to a left knee injury. He is batting .342 with 14 HR and 49 RBI. Votto played for the Dragons in 2003-'04 and rehabbed here in 2009.

Individual Notes

* Sean Buckley has hit safely in nine straight games, going 14 for 36, .389 with three home runs, five doubles, and 11 RBI. He was selected as Midwest League Batter of the Week for the week of August 20-26.

* Juan Silva is batting .350 (14 for 40) over his last 11 games with a home run and six doubles.

* Yorman Rodriguez is batting .364 over his last eight games, going 12 for 33.

Team Notes

* The Dragons are 14-11 over their last 25 games. They will finish the month of August with a winning road record at 7-5 (first winning month on road this season). By winning two of the four remaining games on the current homestand, they will finish the month with a winning record overall. They are currently 13-11 overall in August. The Dragons have not had a winning month this season.
