Eastlake, Ohio--The Midwest League game between the Dayton Dragons and Lake County Captains in Eastlake, Ohio on Tuesday, August 12 has been suspended due to rain. The game was suspended with the Captains leading 2-1 and the Dragons batting in the top of the fifth inning.

Tuesday's suspended game will be resumed on Wednesday, August 13 starting at 6:00 p.m. (EDT) in Eastlake. The suspended game will be resumed in the fifth inning and continue to nine scheduled innings. The second game of the doubleheader will be a seven-inning game.

Lake County took a 2-0 lead in the first inning against Dragons starting pitcher Nick Howard. Eric Haase walked with two outs and scored on Nellie Rodriguez's double to the fence in left-center field. Rodriguez scored on Mike Papi's single to right to make it 2-0.
