Harlingen - United League Baseball's Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings announced today that both games of today's day-night double-header against the Laredo Broncos at Harlingen Field have been postponed due to rain.
Makeup dates have not yet been determined.
"We decided that, for the safety of our fans, players, coaches and staff, this move makes the most sense. With Hurricane Alex approaching, we want to make sure everyone has as much time as they need to prepare and that the Broncos are able to return to Laredo safely," WhtieWings General Manager Cory Dirksen said.
