
Doubleheader Called Due to Rain

Marion, IL - Tonight's Double-header between the Southern Illinois Miners and Lake Erie Crushers has been called due to inclement weather. The Miners and Crushers will play a day/night double header at Rent One Park on Sunday with game one beginning at 1:00 pm. Game two will begin at 7:00 pm. The Miners magic number to clinch a wild card spot is one. The Heartland Regional Medical Center Pregame Show with Mike Ventola on the Miners Radio Network will get underway at 12:45 pm for game one and 6:45 pm for game two.
The Southern Illinois Miners have been awarded the Frontier League Organization of the Year three times since its inception. It has also set a new Frontier League attendance record in 2007.
