
Dodgers Recall INF Dee Gordon From Albuquerque

The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled infielder Dee Gordon today, August 5. He will be making his second Major League stint of the season.
The Florida native batted .175 with a home run and five RBI in 19 games during his previous call-up May 4-26.
Gordon, 25, has hit safely in his last 17 games with Albuquerque establishing a 2013 Isotopes season high. He has batted .366 (26-for-71) since July 14, and overall is batting .307 with a Pacific Coast League-leading 44 steals to go along with 16 doubles, eight triples and a .398 on-base percentage in 80 games.
The Isotopes take on the Fresno Grizzlies in game three of their four-game set tonight at 8:05 PM MDT. Red Patterson (6-3, 3.56) will take the hill in his eighth start of the season against Fresno's southpaw Mike Kickham (4-7, 5.10). Catch all of the game on 610 AM "The Sports Animal" with Josh Suchon on the call.
