Today's Game: The RedHawks have won a club record 10 games in a row and look to continue the winning streak with a 7:05 p.m. game against Colorado Springs at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Last Game: The RedHawks beat Colorado Springs, 5-2, Sunday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark to win a team-record 10th-straight game and take a 2-0 lead in the series. The RedHawks took an early lead in the first inning with an RBI single by George Springer. Brandon Laird added a two-run double in third to push the RedHawks lead to 3-0. The Sky Sox pulled within one after a Ryan Wheeler home run in the top of the sixth, but Rene Garcia picked up a two-run single in the bottom of the inning. OKC starting pitcher Jake Buchanan (4-2) allowed two runs on eight hits over seven innings to record the win. He walked one and struck out four. Buchanan, Jason Stoffel, and Kevin Chapman combined to retire the final 12 batters of the game.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Wade LeBlanc looks for a third win in four starts tonight for Oklahoma City...In his last start Wednesday against Reno, LeBlanc struck out a season-high eight batters over 6.2 IP. He allowed two runs on four hits and walked one, but did not get a decision as Reno tied the game in the ninth inning...Over his last four outings, LeBlanc has turned in a quality start three times and picked up two wins...During his time with the RedHawks LeBlanc has a 3.6/1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He did not allow a walk in three consecutive starts, July 9-21...The lefty has done a good job limiting the opposition with runners in scoring position, holding opponents to a .207 average...LeBlanc was designated for assignment by the Miami Marlins and claimed off waivers by Houston June 8. After making three relief appearances for the Astros, he was designated for assignment again. He cleared waivers and was outrighted to the RedHawks on June 28...Tonight is LeBlanc's first start against Colorado Springs since May 20, 2012 when he played for the New Orleans Zephyrs. He won that game on the road, allowing one run and three hits, walking one and striking out seven over eight innings. In his career against the Sky Sox he is 5-1 with a 3.58 ERA over 10 games (nine starts).

Against the Sky Sox: 2013: 2-0 2012: 3-1 All-time: 66-48 In OKC: 40-18

Oklahoma City won the May 2012 series, 3-1, taking the first three games before losing the series finale in Colorado Springs. Both teams hit well, as the RedHawks batted .328 and the Sky Sox hit .326. No current RedHawks position player participated in that series...The teams last played at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark August 12-15, 2011. They split the series and two games went into extra innings...The Sky Sox have won six of the last 10 meetings between the teams in Oklahoma City, but the RedHawks hold a 40-18 edge in Bricktown all-time.

Streaking Into History: With the last night's victory, the RedHawks have won 10 straight games for the first time in club history. Tonight they will go for their second 11-game home winning streak of the season (April 26-May 10). This is the fourth time in team history they have won at least 10 straight home games, and the all-time home winning streak record stands at 14, set last year May 10-June 7.

High-Water Mark: The RedHawks now sit a season-best 16 games above .500 and own the league's best record at 66-50. By going 15-4 since the All-Star Break, the RedHawks have turned a 4.5-game deficit in the standings into a three-game lead atop the American Southern Division. It's their largest lead in first place since May 22.

Jimmy's Journey: Outfielder Jimmy Paredes returns to the RedHawks today after spending the last four days with the Houston Astros. At the time of his recall to the Astros August 1, Paredes was on a 10-game hitting streak, batting .359 (14x39) with a home run and four RBI. He is the only RedHawk this season with two hitting streaks of at least 10 games.

Leaders, Not Followers: During their current 10-game winning streak, the RedHawks have yet to trail for a full inning. The opposing team has taken the lead in the top of an inning three times, but the RedHawks have tied it up in the bottom of the inning each time.

Mound Magic: Since the All-Star Break, the RedHawks have a 2.69 ERA (50 ER/167.1 IP). The starters have combined for a 2.45 ERA (31 ER/113.2 IP) and allowed more than two earned runs in a game just three times. The RedHawks have held opponents to three runs or less in 13 of their 19 games since the break as well.

Streak Secret: The RedHawks are batting .326 (106x326) as a team during their current winning streak. They have been extremely opportunistic, hitting .351 (34x97) with runners in scoring position, including going 14-for-30 this series.

As the Crowe Flies: Trevor Crowe is 11-for-19 with three RBI over during a five-game hitting streak and now is 12-for-29 over the first eight games of his rehab assignment. Crowe has been sidelined since spraining the AC joint in his right shoulder on June 20. He spent the first month of the season with the RedHawks, hitting .307/2/14. The RedHawks are 15-2 when Crowe leads off this season.

The Laird Up There: Brandon Laird is 7-for-12 in his last three games with three doubles, 10 RBI and three runs scored. He is now tied for third in the PCL with 30 doubles and leads the RedHawks with 104 hits, 13 home runs, 65 RBI, and 55 runs scored.

Singleton Surging: Jon Singleton is currently on a season-best five-game hitting streak, going 8-for-18 with a homer and five RBI.

No-K Corral: The RedHawks have struck out just eight times over the past three games. Their 800 K's at the plate is third-least in the PCL, trailing only Memphis (797) and Omaha (716).
