FOND DU LAC, WI - The Dock Spiders dropped their seventh straight game to the Rockers on Wednesday night at Herr-Baker Field. The Rockers scored three runs in the first two innings as they jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. However, the Dock Spiders responded in the bottom of the fourth inning, capped off by an RBI single by Seth Sweet-Chick (Nevada) that scored Sam Meidenbauer (Milwaukee School of Engineering). Dock Spiders starter Mason Weckler (Wisconsin-Stevens Point) settled in and struck out six Rockers over six innings of work. In the top of the seventh, the Rockers struck again as they put up six runs which gave them a 9-2 lead, topped off by a two RBI double from JoJo Jackson (Georgia State) that scored Max Mims (Southwestern) and Cooper Kelly (Kansas). The Dock Spiders retaliated as an error by JoJo Jackson scored Jake Surane (Wisconsin-Oshkosh). The Rockers shut down the Dock Spiders and took the 9-3 victory.

Rockers starter Logan Lee (Middle Georgia State) earned the win, his first of the season. Dock Spiders starter Mason Weckler was tagged with his first loss of the season. The Dock Spiders fell to 28-41 on the season, 15-19 in the second half. The Dock Spiders will be back at Herr-Baker Field on Friday night as they take on the Lakeshore Chinooks. It's the final home game of the season and Fan Appreciation Night at Herr-Baker Field! The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a rally towel presented by NEW Manufacturing Alliance as we say "Thank You" to fans with some surprises.
