Visalia Rawhide News Release
VISALIA-The Rawhide received a welcome boost to their bullpen today as they head to the final turn in the first half pennant race.
Jeff Dietz and Billy Spottiswood rejoined the team after brief stints at higher levels. Dietz made four appearances at AA Mobile, while Spottiswood spent nearly a month at AAA Reno.
The pair will add even more depth and quality to a Rawhide pitching staff that entered tonight's game with the second-best ERA in the California League.
Daniel Rodriguez, meanwhile, was sent back to short-season Yakima to make room on the 25-man roster. Rodriguez appeared in four games for the Rawhide, compiling a 0-1 record.
