San Angelo Colts News Release
SAN ANGELO, TX--- The first player to be signed by an affiliated team was not Bryan Frichter or Chandler Barnard; it was signal-caller, Alex Herrnberger. The recently signed Colt has signed a contract with Arizona's Rookie Ball affiliate in Missoula, Montana.
Even though Herrnberger was signed less than a week ago, the catcher collected twelve plate appearances with San Angelo. He earned his professional hit, and RBI, against Coastal Bend on Tuesday night.
The resident of Eighty-Four, Pennsylvania hit .330 with 24 RBI in his senior season at Division III Allegheny College.
