El Paso Diablos News Release
Fort Worth, TX - In a series that featured more rain than baseball, the Diablos and Fort Worth were rained out in their attempt to finish their series. The two teams were attempting to complete the second game from their double header last night, and then play the series finale. Instead the game was called off after the two teams completed just another inning and a half. El Paso was continuing to lead the game 4-0 with two outs in the bottom of the fourth inning. The two teams will not make up the games as they are both out of contention for the first half.
El Paso now heads back home for the Fourth of July weekend. They will kick off a four game series with the Shreveport-Bossier Captains on Thursday night. It will be a Thirsty Thursday as the Diablos offer one dollar beer. First pitch is slated for 7:05. Fans can listen to the game listening online at www.diablos.com.
