EL PASO-The El Paso Diablos have announced that tonight's scheduled double header versus the Coastal Bend Aviators has been postponed due to inclement weather. Tonight's game, originally scheduled for a 5:05 p.m. start, has been rescheduled. Sunday's suspended game will be made up on August 17 in Coastal Bend as part of a doubleheader. The second game will be a 7 inning game.
The Diablos will then play two doubleheaders at home on Wednesday and Thursday August 23 and 24. Both games will be 7 innings with the first game starting at 6:05 p.m.
Fans that have already purchased tickets can redeem them for any game this season. Please call the Diablos Box Office for ticket information at 915.755.2000.
The El Paso Diablos are members of the newly formed American Association of Professional Baseball. In 2005 the Diablos led the Central League in average attendance while averaging well over 4,000 fans each night at Cohen Stadium. For more information please call Valerie Venegas at 915.755.2000.
