
Detroit Panthers announce new head coach, assistant GM

Detroit, MI. The ABA Detroit Panthers today announced that Clarence "Bill" Jones has assumed the dual roles of Head Coach and Assistant General Manager of the team. Jones has played in the NBA and overseas for over thirteen years and was formerly assistant coach of the team. He will be replacing co-owner and former head coach Antoine Joubert in the role.
According to Joubert, "We are very pleased that Bill has accepted the position. He dedication to excellence and love of basketball will be a positive force in leading the Panther organization to an ABA Championship."
