Peterborough Petes News Release
(Peterborough, ON) - The tenth annual Pink in the Rink game is set for Saturday, February 2 when the Petes take on the Oshawa Generals.
Petes players will wear special Pink in the Rink fundraising sweaters, which will be available for purchase following the game in a live auction. Other fundraising opportunities include a bucket pass, chuck-a-ball, and sales of special edition pink Petes t-shirts. In addition, the following are just some of the items that will be featured in a silent auction in the North Lobby:
- Autographed memorabilia (Sidney Crosby, Cory Stillman, Kevin Shattenkirk and Steve Larmer signed jerseys)
- Event tickets and packages (Daytona 500, golf, Peterborough Musicfest)
The campaign honourary chairmen are Petes alumni Steve Larmer and Cameron Mann. The chairs will help raise funds and awareness as the Pink in the Rink campaign looks to raise $65,000, which will bring the ten year campaign total to over $680,000.
