URBANDALE, Iowa - The Des Moines Buccaneers have acquired Zion Green from the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
Green is committed to Northern Michigan University. Green is a 2004 birth year, right-shot forward, standing 5'11 and weighing 181 pounds. Green hails from Birmingham, Michigan, and played in the North American Hockey League last season with the Maine Nordiques, scoring 15 goals and recording 47 points in 55 games. He's put up 4 goals and an assist in 22 games for Cedar Rapids this season.
Des Moines Buccaneers forward Connor Pelc was acquired by the Sioux Falls Stampede and the organization wishes him the best of luck.
