Sanford Children's Jersey Auction Tonight
February 11, 2023 - United States Hockey League (USHL) - Fargo Force News Release
February 11th is a special night dedicated to Sanford Children's Hospital Fargo!
The puck drops at 6:05 p.m. at Scheels Arena, 5225 31st Ave S. Fargo.
This year, the Force will hit the ice wearing customized jerseys designed by 12-year-old Eric Bjorlie from Pekin, North Dakota. Eric is the 2023 North Dakota Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Champion representing Sanford Children's Hospital.
ERIC'S STORY
One summer, Eric developed flu-like symptoms that just wouldn't go away. His local doctors ran test after test until they pinpointed an alarming problem with his kidneys.
Eric was immediately flown to Sanford Children's Hospital in Fargo, where miraculously-through the generosity of our donors-the state's only pediatric kidney dialysis program had just opened.
Eric was diagnosed with not only a rare autoimmune disease, which had fully damaged his kidneys, but also a rare blood disorder. He spent the next two weeks receiving dialysis in intensive care.
Today, Eric and other children continue to count on Sanford Children's for regular treatment. They need your help.
