
Denny Creehan Relieved of Coaching Duties

(Calgary) - The Calgary Stampeder Football Club announced that they have relieved Denny Creehan of his duties as the team's defensive coordinator and assistant head coach as of this morning.
Creehan was hired before the start of the 2004 CFL season by then head coach Matt Dunnigan, and was then retained when Tom Higgins was hired in 2005.
The Stampeders organization thanks Mr. Creehan for his four years of service to the club and wishes him the best with any future endeavours.
Senior Vice-President of Football Operations/Head Coach, Tom Higgins will be available for questions or comment on this matter at 2pm this afternoon at McMahon Stadium (Main Administration).
Players will not be made available for question or comment on this matter before the end of practice on Thursday.
