New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - New England Revolution defender DeJuan Jones has been called in to the United States Men's National Team for two international friendly matches. Jones and the USMNT will play against 2014 FIFA World Cup winner Germany on Saturday, Oct. 14 in Hartford, Conn. (3:00 p.m. ET), before hosting Ghana on Tuesday, Oct. 17 in Nashville, Tenn. (8:30 p.m. ET). Click HERE to view the United States' full 23-man roster.
This marks Jones' fourth call-up to the U.S. senior national team as the left back looks to add to his seven international appearances. Jones was most recently selected by Gregg Berhalter for an international friendly against Oman on Sept. 12, where the outside back tallied one assist as a second-half substitute en route to a 4-0 win. The Michigan native was also selected to the United States' roster for the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, where Jones registered two assists over four games started. Jones logged his senior team debut on Jan. 26 in an international friendly against Serbia.
Jones has appeared in 23 matches this season, starting 22 of them, with one goal scored and six assists, tied for fourth most among MLS defenders. The 26-year-old has helped New England clinch a berth in the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs, the Revolution's fourth postseason appearance during Jones' five-year career. In his MLS regular season career, the defender owns 123 appearances, 109 starts, six goals, and 19 assists, plus six additional starts in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
The Revolution continue their push for a top-four finish in the Eastern Conference this Saturday night on the road at Orlando City SC. Watch Saturday's match FREE on Apple TV in English and Spanish or listen on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ-FM) and 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA (Portuguese).
