
DeAngelo Receives WJC Camp Invite from USA Hockey

Sting defenseman, Anthony DeAngelo has been included in USA Hockey's 30-player camp roster for the 2015 U.S. National Junior Team. The Sewell, NJ native has yet to represent the USA at the IIHF World Junior Championships and will have an opportunity to earn a spot on the team when camp begins at the Walter Brown Arena at Boston University on Dec. 16.
DeAngelo leads all OHL defenseman with 7G, 20A for 27 points through 22 games this season. His offensive capabilities are among the best in the league, and part of the reason he was taken 19th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Team USA will play three pre-tournament games in advance of the World Juniors - Dec. 19 vs. Boston University at Walter Brown Arena in Boston; Dec. 21 vs. Germany and Dec. 23 vs. Sweden, both at the Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario. All games are slated to begin at 7 p.m. ET. None of the games are televised.
