Cole Cassels Named to Team USA Training Camp Roster

USA Hockey announced today that 29 players have been named to the 2015 U.S. National Junior Team camp roster, beginning Dec. 16 at the Walter Brown Arena at Boston University. The Oshawa Generals are pleased to announce that Cole Cassels has been named to the roster.

Cole Cassels, a native of Columbus, Ohio is currently playing his fourth season with the Oshawa Generals. Cole has scored 39 points (12 goals, 27 assists) in 22 games played this season. He was selected 85th overall by the Vancouver Canucks at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Oshawa Generals General Manager, Roger Hunt says, "I couldn't be happier to see Cole be invited to the USA selection camp. He has paid his dues as a General and has developed into a leader and will continue on to be a great pro."

The Oshawa Generals wish Cole all the best at training camp. All Team USA games in the IIHF World Junior Championship will be televised live on NHL Network in the U.S., and also streamed live in the U.S. at NHL.com. NHL Network U.S. will have additional games on as well, but only the Team USA games will be streamed.
