
Daytona Tortugas Announce 2016 Schedule

Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Tortugas (Cincinnati Reds Advanced-A Affiliate) have released their 2016 regular season schedule, which is accessible through the attached PDF.
Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark will host opening night with a postgame fireworks spectacular on Thursday, April 7 at 7:05 p.m. ET against the Brevard County Manatees. The team will announce its 2016 promotional schedule during the upcoming offseason on DaytonaTortugas.com.
The Tortugas are scheduled to play 70 games at home and 70 on the road. Daytona will host the Florida State League affiliates of the Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, Miami Marlins and Pittsburg Pirates.
The 2016 Florida State League All-Star Game will be held at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers on Saturday, June 18.
The Tortugas have officially clinched a postseason berth in their inaugural season, and will face the first half champion Clearwater Threshers in the 2015 Florida State League North Division Series.
The Tortugas will host Game 1 on Tuesday, September 8th at Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET. Tickets are now available ($8 general admission, $12.50 VIP) at DaytonaTortugas.com or over the phone at 386-257-3172.
Fans can enjoy "Thirsty Tuesday" drink specials during the playoff game, including $1 12 oz. domestic drafts and small sodas.
