Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lake County Captains (affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) in the fourth game of a six-game series.

Last Game: Thursday: Game 1: Lake County 6, Dayton 3. Game 2: Lake County 1, Dayton 0. Will Brennan keyed the Captains doubleheader sweep, belting a tie-breaking three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth of the first game, and then ending the second game with a walk-off RBI double. Francisco Urbaez led the Dragons offense on the night, going 2 for 5 with a home run. Dragons second game starting pitcher Eduardo Salazar fired six scoreless innings, allowing just one hit.

Player Notes

Jacob Hurtubise over his last 15 games is 17 for 50 (.340) to raise his average from .200 to .293. He leads the High-A Central League in On-Base Percentage (.456). He is tied for 10th in the league in batting average and tied for sixth in runs scored. Hurtubise has 16 stolen bases on the year to rank fourth in the league and tied for seventh in all of Minor League Baseball (120 teams), four behind the national leader. He has stolen 11 bases in the last 11 games.

Francisco Urbaez over his last nine games is 12 for 29 (.414) with two home runs.

Team Notes

Dayton begins the day in second place, one and one-half games behind West Michigan in the Central League East Division.

Dayton has held at least a share of first place after 20 of the 27 games they have played this season. The have not been lower than second place in the standings and have not been more than their current one and one-half games out of first at any time this season.
