
Davis Named Shaw CFL Top Performer for Week 2

OTTAWA-GATINEAU - The Canadian Football League announced Tuesday that REDBLACKS quarterback Dominique Davis has been named one of the Shaw CFL Week 2 Top Performers.
Davis went to work in Week 2 after a big W in Calgary the week before, completing 30 out of 39 pass attempts and combining for a total of 354 passing yards on top of three touchdown passes in a second-straight win against Saskatchewan. Davis also added 43 rushing yards on five carries in a 44-41 win over the Roughriders, helping the REDBLACKS to a 2-0 record to start the season.

Davis and the REDBLACKS are currently enjoying a Week 3 bye, but will be taking the field once again at TD Place on Friday, July 5th, when they host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
